Message	for "Solo 2" racing is dictated by the SCCA (sports car club of america), not WCMA or their parent ASN Canada. Polar PCA events are not "solo 2" by definition which is why the solo 2 rules don't apply to them. (and yes I realize it's possible Hawkin's event also wasn't solo 2). But I too have had conversations with "local porsche instructors" (including your cousin) and was told that the *other* insurance they got was obtained through their connection to their parent organization the PCA (Porsche Club of America). Based on that I would think it is probably unlikely our club or any of the other local car clubs could acquire the same insurance coverage they enjoy.
